18th Century Botanical Engraving Print November Casteels / H. Fletcher Framed
Antique botanical engraving, framed (approx. 15″ × 18″ outside frame) titled “November” (from the famous Twelve Months of Flowers series by Robert Furber, London 1730). Engraved by H. Fletcher after the original drawing by P. Casteels. The print features a richly detailed bouquet of flowers in classical urn, with numbered plant references and “November” cartouche below.
The print is mounted in a handsome wood & gilt frame (see photos). The backing board shows wear/tear (see photo). Image remains crisp; plate and margins in good vintage condition.
